Classes for all ages starting at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings
Sunday School
2 and 3 year old
LBC”s 2 and 3 year old Sunday School Class develops a beginning understanding of Jesus and a love to come to church. Through songs, instruments, stories, lessons, and handwork pages the children learn important truths from the Bible.
4 & 5 year olds
Children are in my class for 2 years. By the time they leave I want them to understand that
these things about:
1. The Bible
It is Word of God.
Every single word is true.
There are no lies in it because God cannot lie.
The Bible is the true history of the Universe.
The people in the Bible are real people, not just "stories".
2. Jesus
He is God the Son.
He was sinless.
He is the Creator of the Universe.
We are all sinners and Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sin.
Grades 1-3
LBC’s Primary Class teaches age appropriate plan to prepare our children to grow spiritually. Using a blend of chronological and in-depth topical Bible study, we provide our students with a deeper understanding of who Jesus is, what he is like, and why he came to earth.
Grades 4th - 6th
Our 4th - 6th grade class teaches how we can be assured God is real and that the Bible perfect and true. We study through the entire Bible, starting with God's creation of the universe, and ending with Revelation, emphasizing how to be certain we will be in heaven someday with our loving Savior. We also include time for fun such as celebrating birthdays and Christmas. We would love to have you join us!
Grades 7 - 12th
The aim of the class is to prepare students with a biblical world view. Equipping them with the practical tools necessary to engage the world with the knowledge and love of Christ.
Adult Class
Our adult class equips believers to magnify Christ by living out Jesus's teachings in all aspects of our lives. (Mark 5: 13-16).
This includes:
- Resisting temptation and mortifying sin in our lives (Ephesians 6: 10-20)
- Knowing and practicing the Scriptures (John 14: 23-24)
- Living and speaking the gospel (Matthew 28: 19-20)
- Preparing for the imminent return of Christ (Matthew 25: 1-13)
